It All Began with One Little Boy

When Jaxon entered the world, he brought with him a rare diagnosis—Type 2 Kabuki Syndrome. It was a moment that changed everything. From open-heart surgery to countless hospital stays, Jaxon faced battles most children never have to fight. Yet through every challenge, he radiated a light so powerful, it sparked something extraordinary.

✨ Founded in February 2024, Lumiere was born from a family’s love and a dream that refused to be dimmed: to create a space where every child—regardless of ability—can laugh, play, and truly belong. A place where parents feel seen, not isolated. Where families come together without judgement. Where difference isn’t just accepted—it’s celebrated.

In just a few months, Lumiere has grown from a dream into a lifeline for hundreds of families. Children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) explore soft play zones, sensory rooms, and activities crafted for them—not adapted, not restricted, but designed with their unique needs at heart. Siblings play side by side. Friendships bloom. And parents finally find a space where they’re understood.

💛 Lumiere isn’t just a charity. It’s a movement. It’s connection.

It’s proof that one child’s story can light the way for so many others.

As Lumiere continues to grow, we carry Jaxon’s light forward—creating a more inclusive world where every child is seen, every family is supported, and every little soul gets the chance to shine.
