Inspiring Young Voices with Liverpool Heartbeat
I had a fabulous time working with the children at St. Mark’s Catholic Primary School in Halewood.
We learnt about how the voice works and warmed up our voices, played a musical game and learnt a song from The Sound of Music.
The children also had the opportunity to listen to me singing in different languages to understand the work of an opera singer, and we rounded off the session with a Q&A.
It is always such a joy to lead these workshops for Liverpool Heartbeat. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn about singing and the wonderful world of classical music.
