Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett thanks Liverpool Heartbeat as New Mural Unveiled
A striking new mural celebrating Liverpool’s own UFC champions Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett and Molly ‘The Meatball’ McCann has been unveiled — a vibrant tribute to two athletes who continue to inspire young fans across the city. Painted by MurWalls and revealed on Goldie Street, the artwork sits proudly between Anfield and Goodison Park, on a home owned by Liverpool Heartbeat founder Robin Baynes MBE.
A Shout‑Out to Community Cohesion
The mural carries a powerful message of community cohesion, something Robin immediately recognised when MurWalls approached him about the project. As he shared, “This mural jumps out at me and says ‘Community Cohesion’. It is bringing people and the fans together and that’s what I’m all about.”
Liverpool Heartbeat has long championed positive pathways for young people, and this artwork adds another uplifting landmark to the neighbourhood — a reminder of pride, resilience, and togetherness.
At the unveiling, Paddy expressed heartfelt gratitude for the city’s support and the role Liverpool Heartbeat plays in inspiring the next generation.
He said, “Me and Molly can’t thank the city enough for all the support we have received… to see this unbelievable bit of artwork by MurWalls just makes every injury, sacrifice and all the hard work we do, so very much worth it.”
His words echo the spirit of the mural: a celebration of Liverpool’s people, its heart, and the champions who proudly represent it.

Local boxing coach Michelle Karalius described the mural as “an inspiration for our young boxers and those who follow Paddy and Molly.” Its position on one of the city’s main roads makes it a standout landmark — a daily reminder to young athletes that greatness can grow from their own streets.
With its bold colours and powerful message — “Our People, Our City, Our Heart” — the mural captures everything Liverpool Heartbeat stands for: community, creativity, and giving young people reasons to believe in themselves.
