Liverpool Heartbeat Stands With Alex Rigby as Heatwave Transforms 5K Challenge Into a Community Walk
Early Friday evening, I joined Alex Rigby, along with other Liverpool Heartbeat Volunteers, to cheer Alex off on his latest Fundraiser for Centre 56 with main Sponsor CLAN and Mersey Rail overseeing the Health and Safety, making the joint decision to turn the 5K Run on the hour between Freshfield Railway Station and Hightown Railway Station into a walk because of the Heatwave and rising temperatures.
Alex was joined with a lot of other organisations, friends, families and supporters of Centre 56 were Alex is employed as their Fundraiser.
Alex is already a Legend in his own right, a well-known figure on Merseyside, a real privilege to know Alex as a friend who brings the Community Together to help a great cause.
