A lovely connection at Southport Flower Show

I had the pleasure of meeting Brittany Fenney and her mum at the Southport Flower Show on Friday afternoon. Brittany’s warmth and kindness shone through straight away — she’s passionate about supporting young people and gives her time generously to charity work.

As we chatted, she said she’d be delighted to share a message for Liverpool Heartbeat, which felt such a natural connection. Brittany’s also a talented singer and lives locally in Maghull, so it was lovely to meet someone who shares that same love for community and creativity.

It was one of those gentle, unexpected moments that remind you how much good energy there is around us — and how many people care deeply about helping others grow.
