Two Decades of Impact

Welcoming back David Graham and his Natural High Mission

It’s with real pride—and a touch of nostalgia—that I welcome back my dear friend and long-time collaborator, David Graham, to Merseyside schools with his award-winning Natural High Schools Programme.

For over twenty years, David and I have shared a mission: to help young people discover the joy, confidence, and purpose that comes from using their talents to live a healthy, fulfilled life.

David’s programme isn’t just a presentation—it’s a movement. With over 4000 schools visited and 1.5 million students reached, Natural High has become a beacon of hope and creativity across the UK

Through music, storytelling, and interactive competitions—MIND, SPORTS, and FAME—David empowers students to find their own “natural high” and reject negative influences.

Here in Merseyside, we’ve seen firsthand the impact. Pupils leave his sessions buzzing with energy, pride, and a renewed sense of possibility. Whether it’s a Year 6 student discovering their voice, or a Year 8 pupil stepping into leadership, David’s message lands with heart and humour.

1stEven though it’s your choice, taking drugs is a waste of your voice, remember there are people to support you, don’t drugs it’s the wrong thing to do.

2nd – A Natural High is what we love, like a ray of sunshine from above, don’t take drugs because they are fake, if you take drugs that’s a big mistake.

3
rd – Drugs are taken every day, “they’ll make you look cool” is what friends may say, but remember taking drugs is a crime, yet unfortunately it happens all the time.

At Liverpool Heartbeat, we believe in the power of positive role models—and David is one of the finest. His return to our schools is more than a visit; it’s a homecoming.

Let’s celebrate the talent, resilience, and brilliance of our young people—and help them rise, naturally.
