Across Mersey Swim 29th Annual Swim. Started by Liverpool Lord Mayor Roy Gladden at Liverpool Marina, with Mayor of Wirral Jeff Green, who welcomed the swimmers at the finish at Monks Ferry
Liam Hanlon organiser of the swim with Robin Baynes founder of the swim in 1994 along with Jimmy Tinsley and Bob Jones (deceased) Jim out on the River helping organise the Saftey Boats.
